Sandel Playground is the proper destination for your Greenwood park needs. Compared to its neighbo(u)r, Greenwood Park, the chains are longer, and the swings more plentiful. There's quite a large area of open grass as well.
How to get there: Bus routes 5 and 48 stop along 90th.
this park definitely looks better than the one that shares the neighborhood namesake. and since they are so close together there is really no reason to ever go to the one with inferior swings...if swings are what you're after. i've said it before but older swings are generally a lot more fun than their newer "safer" (read: less exhilarating, possibly even boring) counterparts.
